This past weekend was Billesborg's sommerfest. This is when all the teachers, students and families come together to celebrate the end of school year and the beginning of summer. On the Outer Banks this would be equivalant to the Fall Festival held at Kitty Hawk Elementary School. There are plays, concerts, art shows, food, a bouncy thing for the kids, soccer, and many more games for the kids. Simon played in a band that sung two Kashmir songs and I was his groupie that took all the pictures. I think I am becoming a rather good photographer...I learn from the best. Anyway, the school year comes to an end this Friday. I will miss the kids mucho, but not enough to spoil my holidays.
