Tivoli, Arken and the Boat Tour

I only have 15 minutes to write this because I have to bake some bread for cell group. Brooke and I have been really trapsing. The day before yesterday we went to Arken but when we got to the bus that takes us there it never came. We ended up taken a cab that delivered us to a closed museam so after a small panic we hopped on the train and ended up in Copenhagen, which turned out to be better than our planned trip to Arken. After spending much time in this store called Mango we went to eat at this great sandwich shop. It is very cozy. Afterwards, we went back to Mango, spent some time in H and M and then went to this old fashion cafe to enjoy cake and coffee. It had rained ALL day but suddenly cleared up giving us a fabulous oppurtunity to cruise on a boat to view Copenhagen. (For more pictures of this, go to "Archives" and see my parents trip here. Should be April 2006.) We headed home and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing. The next day we shopped in Koge and around 3 we headed to Copenhagen again (yes, we went back to Mango and H and M). However, our evening was planned to go to Tivoli, which was looking very miserable because of the rainy weather. I prayed my heart out that morning for the weather to clear and after a hearty meal at the Hard Rock Cafe IT DID! ATP! And we rode every ride even the ones that should be illegal. Finally, today, May 24 we made our way back to an opened Arken with Inger and enjoyed some Aboringinal Art that is so amazing! Now, being a little tired, a little enlightened, and having to use the bathroom I leave you saying: "It has rained every day becoming sunny around 4. We have survived the Golden Tower and Brooke survived culture shock and jet lag!" Peace out.
